This really is a first for LED lightbulbs - unlike all our other LED lamps these are constructed using 24 surface mounted diodes - in simple terms this means it looks like a standard lightbulb with an opaque front and gives a off a light approx equivalent to a 35w halogen but with a very wide (80degree) beam spread. This makes it perfect for general purpose lighting such as in a kitchen or lounge however it's not so good if you want to concentrate light into a particular space (see the Brilux V3 for this effect).
The colour temperature is amber white which provides a comfortable effect. As with all LED's these require NO warm up time and cane be used to directly replace existing Halogen lamps but as they consume just 2.3w power they will save a fortune in the long run.
