The Standby Socket from EcoSavers® combines energy saving with the luxury of switching your electrical devices on or off by remote control. With this product you can turn off your electrical devices simply by using the remote control, cutting off the electric power.
Using the Ecosavers’ system your device will not be left in standby mode and will therefore save standby power consumption of all the devices connected to the remote socket. The socket can be used for operating with numerous sockets and one single remote control (available separately).
Several sockets can be controlled by the same on/off (zone) switch of the remote control, offering many combinations of use. Easy to set up, each remote socket can be programmed to react to any zone button and as the remote control operates on radio frequency, the sockets can be placed out of sight if required.
Some older TV's can consume up to 30 watts of energy just on standby, costing you in the region of £15 per annum. Also try using one with TV, DVD player etc attached to save even more energy.
