By highlighting what an item was in its previous life, we feel that it shows what can be made with UK waste, generating a positive interest in recycling and environmental issues.
Using the fascination of what an item once was is a new and fun way of communicating the recycled message. Materials used for the recycled stationery include old CD cases, plastic packaging, plastic bags, car tyres and even old carpet tiles!
We want people to think that recycling is worthwhile and, in fact, is very cool!
